
Syracuse Chiefs to Introduce "Season of Central New York" at Open House, Sat., March 3

SYRACUSE, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs are excited to introduce the "Season of Central New York" as the overarching theme of the 2018 baseball season at NBT Bank Stadium. The theme will carry through the entire summer with promotions based on different brands, people, inventions, food, etc. from the CNY region.
"The Chiefs are a huge part of part of Central New York and we wanted to show the fans how much we care about and appreciate this community," said Jason Smorol, general manager. "Central New York has so many great features and we have come up with some really fun and different ways to appreciate and recognize some of them. This is a great place to live and we are proud to represent Central New York!"

The Open House will feature a Fan Forum where fans can learn all the details about the "Season of Central New York" promotions and all the other promotions on the schedule for 2018. The Fan Forum will begin at 10 a.m. in the Hank Sauer Room at NBT Bank Stadium. All fans, media and members of the community are welcome to attend.
The Open House will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at NBT Bank Stadium. Individual game tickets will go on sale at the Ticket Office or online at syracusechiefs.com. Fans can also take guided stadium tours, take a swing in the batting cages, shop in the Whistlestop Souvenir Store & try out to sing the National Anthem during the 2018 season.
