Syracuse Chiefs Open House and Fan Forum Saturday, March 3rd

SYRACUSE, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs will hold their annual Open House on Saturday, March 3rd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at NBT Bank Stadium. The Open House marks the first day fans can purchase individual game tickets for the 2018 season. This year, General Manager Jason Smorol will host a fan forum, for fans to ask questions and learn more about the 2018 season. As always, fans can take guided stadium tours, hit in the batting cages, shop in the Whistlestop Souvenir Store, admire the historical cases and real Wall of Fame, and try out to sing the National Anthem before a game. Scooch and Pops will also be in attendance for photos and entertainment.

Individual games tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. at the NBT Bank Stadium Ticket Office or online at syracusechiefs.com. Fans will also be able to purchase season tickets, book a group outing, reserve a suite, or purchase a Flex Plan or the Flex Plan Plus at the Open House.

"The Open House is one of my favorite days of the year because it is the first time we get to see our fans in the New Year," said Jason Smorol, general manager. "It is also our chance to introduce the community to all the fun, exciting promotions we have worked all winter long to plan. We listened to the fans and we have something going on every single day, with something for every fan to enjoy."

Every day of the week has a special theme. Old favorites, like Taco Tuesday, Winning Wednesday, $1 Thursday, Super Saturday and Kids Eat Free Sunday will all return in 2018. New this season is Mangia Monday with an all-you-can-eat option for all hungry Chiefs fans! Also new in 2018 is Craft Beer Friday, presented by Now & Later Bottle Shop and Tap Room. Every Friday beer-lovers can try unique, exclusive brews and catch the game at the same time. Fans can learn more about the days of the week promotions at the Fan Forum.

The Fan Forum will begin at 10 a.m. in the Hank Sauer Room, all are welcome to attend. The entire 2018 promotional schedule will be released at the Fan Forum along with more details about this upcoming baseball season.
