
Sylvia Fowles Injury Update

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced that an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) taken at Mayo Clinic in Minneapolis on center Sylvia Fowles confirmed a cartilage injury in her right knee. She will be out indefinitely and further updates will be issued when available.
The injury occurred during the June 7 contest against the New York Liberty. In her 15th and final WNBA season, Fowles is averaging 16.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks per game in 12 games. She is currently pacing the league in field goal percentage (64.1) and rebounds per game.
The Lynx will take on the Washington Mystics on Friday, June 10 at Target Center. Tip is set for 7:00 p.m. CT and will broadcast on Bally Sports North.
