
Supernovas Move Nia Reed to Short-Term Injured Reserve

OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Supernovas have announced that opposite Nia Reed has been moved to short-term injured reserve.
Reed has seen action in 10 matches during her debut season in Omaha. The Penn State product has hit .216 across those matches with 53 kills, 43 digs, six blocks and two aces. Reed had one of her best matches in the four-set win over Columbus on April 4, recording a .314 hitting percentage on 35 swings with 16 kills to go with nine digs, one block and one assist.
Omaha is back in action on Saturday, April 20 when they host the San Diego Mojo at the CHI Health Center. First serve is set for 6 p.m. CDT.
Fans can listen to all the action on the Supernovas Radio Network, which is led by the flagship station, 93.7 The Ticket. Radio coverage is also on 95.7 The Boss (Omaha), KRVN (Lexington), KOLT (Scottsbluff) and KTIC (West Point).
