Sundogs Shutout by Brahmas, 3-0

Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs lost Friday night in Fort Worth Texas against the Brahmas in a 3-0 shutout at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

Brendon Hodge, a ninth year veteran scored two of the Brahmas three goals tonight, while Fort Worth's leading scoreR Phil Fox was credited with the third. With seven minutes left in the opening period Hodge found the back of the net which proved to be the game winning goal tonight. The Brahmas were 2-2 on the power play when both Hodge and Fox scored on the man advantage.

Adam Russo took the loss for Arizona tonight with the Sundogs being out shot by the Brahmas 26-24. This was Fort Worth's goaltender Kristofer Westblom's second consecutive shutout when they beat the Quad City Mallards 5-0 on the 28th. Arizona plays again tomorrow night in Allen Texas against the Americans. The Sundogs are 1-3-1 against the Americans and are currently tied for fourth place with 19 points in the league.
