Arizona Sundogs News Release
PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs spent the past week appearing in local supermarkets to support Pepsi for their "Ghouls, Ghosts, and Goalies" promotion.
The final appearance took place yesterday in the Prescott Valley Wal-Mart as Jesse Perrin and Jeff Hazelwood spent time signing autographs, meeting fans, and taking pictures. The Sundogs mascot, Burnie, also joined the players.
Perrin and Hazelwood handed out candy as kids in costume entered the store for an early start on their trick or treating activities for later that night.
The Sundogs made four total appearances over the last eight days at Wal-Mart and Fry's Supermarket locations in support of Pepsi. In all, Jeff Martens, David Nimmo, Adam Smyth, Daymen Rycroft, Tyler Matheson, and Shawn Morton-Boutin (boo-TAN) from the Sundogs all appeared at the different locations in the Quad-Cities area and Cottonwood.
The Sundogs begin their first road trip of the season this week when they visit the Allen Americans on Friday at 5:05 PM PST.
The Arizona Sundogs are the Central Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes.
