PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - As they get ready to close out their season-long, 10-game home stand, the Arizona Sundogs were busy off the ice this week after making six community appearances in four days.

On Monday, Mike Gurtler, Kevin Petovello, Jesse Perrin, and Craig Macdonald all visited local WalMart locations in Cottonwood and Prescott to sign autographs and meet with fans. After Wednesday's contest against the Wichita Thunder, the team appeared at Tailgaters in Prescott Valley for a post-game party.

To close out the busy week, Corey Toy and Zach Carriveau each appeared at the Safeway Grocery Store in Chino Valley to sign autographs. Tyler Matheson and Mike Spillane each did the same thing at Fry's on Willow Creek Rd. in Prescott.

The autograph signings in local stores were in support of Pepsi and a series of displays set up around the northern Arizona community base around the Sundogs.

Arizona hosts the Allen Americans this weekend. Friday's contest is set for a 7:05 PM start.

The Arizona Sundogs are the Central Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes. Their sixth season is brought to you by Cliff Castle Casino-Hotel and the team will also host the 2012 CHL All-Star Game in January. Season tickets, mini-plan, and single-game ticket information is now available by calling (928) 759-6600 or visiting arizonasundogs.com.
