
Sundogs Activate Visser, Place Delforte On I.R.

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Arizona Sundogs Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro today announced that the team has activated alternate captain Jason Visser and has placed second-year forward Torren Delforte on 14-day I.R, retroactive to January 16.
Visser, 27, has appeared in 16 games with Arizona this season, recording nine points (6g/3a), a plus-4 rating and six penalty minutes (PIM).
In 88 career regular season games over three seasons with the Sundogs, the Mississauga, Ontario, native has collected 27 goals, 45 assists, a plus-11 rating and 38 PIM.
Delforte, 23, is tied for the team lead in goals with 16 and ranks fourth overall in team scoring with 30 points.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound forward picked up points (7g/5a) in eight straight contests from October 17 to November 6 and has collected 10 points (6g/4a) in his last 12 games.
Arizona (13-21-3) opens a three-game home stand at Tim's Toyota Center and plays in the first of five straight against the Central Hockey League-leading Odessa Jackalopes tonight at 7:05pm.
