Game Five - Semi-Finals

CENTURY MARK: The Storm, with the 109-103 win, has extended their league-record streak of 100 or more point-games to 13 straight. Summerside has scored 100 or more points in 32 of their last 34 games. Their streak of scoring 110 or more is stopped at seven games, an NBL record.

SHOOTING SUPERIORITY: In game five, the Storm out-shot the Express 43.0% to 41.3%. Summerside has out-shot the Express in four of the five games in the series.

CLEARING THE BOARDS: The Storm has out-rebounded the Express in four of the five games in the series, including a 55-52 edge in game five.

UNDER FIFTY: The Storm has kept the Express under 50 points in the first half in all five games in the series. The 48 points scored by the Express in Tuesday's game in the first half (Storm led 56-48) was the most first-half points scored by Windsor in the series.

BETTER FROM THREE: The Storm shot 38.4% in three-pointers during the series. Their 3-point shooting during the regular season was 34.7%. Summerside shot 50% (11-22) from beyond the three-point arc in game five. It is the sixth time in club history and the first time in the playoffs that the Storm shot 50% or more in threes in one game.

BETTER FROM THE LINE: The Storm shot 78.9% from the free-throw line in game five, their highest percentage of the series.

SHARING THE LOAD: The top five scorers for Summerside in the series were Greg Plummer (19.6 points per game), Omari Johnson (19.0 ppg), Antoine Tisby (18.6 ppg), Brandon Robinson (17.0 ppg) and Chris Cayole (13.6 ppg).

THIRTY-SOMETHING: Greg Plummer scored 30 points in game five, the first 30 point-game in the playoffs for the Storm. It was the 11 th time that a Storm player has scored 30 or more points in one game. Brandon Robinson has accomplished the feat five times while Greg Plummer has four such games. The other two such games came from Tory Jackson and Antonio Ballard.

MR. CONSISTENCY: Omari Johnson has scored 10 or more points in a club-record 21 straight games. He has now played 26 games with Summerside and has failed to score 10 or more only once.

DOUBLE-DOUBLES: Summerside had three double-doubles in game five. That makes 13 double-doubles in the playoffs for the Storm and 53 total double-doubles this season. Omari Johnson recorded his fifth double-double of the playoffs with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Johnson has seven double-doubles in the past eight games and his 13 th of the season. Josiah Turner registered his second double-double of the season (both in the playoffs) when he scored 14 points and added 10 rebounds. Greg Plummer followed his triple-double in game four with a double-double in game five. Plummer had 30 points and 11 rebounds.
