LEADING: In all four games, the Storm has led after the first quarter and at halftime. They led heading into the fourth quarter in the first three games. Windsor held a slim 73-72 lead after three quarters in the last game.
SCORING IN BUNCHES: The Storm have established a new NBL record by scoring 100 or more points in 12 straight games. The Oshawa Power originally held the NBL record with 11 straight games in 2011-12. The Storm has now scored 100 or more points in 31 of its last 33 games.
The Storm extended its NBL record to seven consecutive games scoring 110 or more points.
DEFENDING THE SHOT: During the playoffs, the Storm is 2-0 when keeping Windsor under 40% in shooting. On the other hand, it is 0-2 when the Express have shot 40% or more. The Storm was out-shot for the first time in the series in game four. (Express 44.9%, Storm 43.3%).
LET'S PLAY MORE: Game four was the sixth time that Summerside has played overtime. Its record is 2-4 in those six games. Summerside has played in three extra-length games this year, beating London and losing to London and Windsor
TURNOVERS: The Storm had 24 turnovers in game four as opposed to 17 by Windsor. It is the first game of the series in which Summerside had more turnover than the Express.
IMPORTANCE OF THE FREE THROW: During this series, when Summerside shoot over 70% from the free throw line, it wins, Otherwise it loses.
GREAT GAME FOR GREG: Greg Plummer recorded the third ever triple-double for Summerside. Plummer had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to join Al Stewart and Royce Parran as the only Storm players to register triple-doubles. Plummer also had seven steals, narrowly missing a quadruple double. Plummer also played 49:36, breaking Omari Johnson's team record of 48:26. The seven steals by Plummer ties Al Stewart's club record, established January 6th, 2013 at Moncton.
DOUBLE OMARI: Omari Johnson had his fourth double-double of the playoffs and his sixth in the last seven games. Johnson had 24 points and 14 rebounds. It was his 12th double-double of the season.
TISBY TOP SCORER: Antoine Tisby led all scorers with 28 points. It was the second games since joining the Storm that Tisby has scored 25 or more points in one game. Antoine shot 12-19 from the floor. His 12 successful baskets is one away from the club record of 13.
STREAKIN': Omari Johnson (24 points) has scored 10 or more points in a club-record 20 straight games. He has scored 10 or more points in 24 of his 25 games with Summerside. Brandon Robinson (12 points) extended his streak to 19 straight games. Robinson scored all 12 points from the third quarter on.
PERFECT!: Chris Cayole was a perfect 7 for 7 from the free throw line in game four.
