
Summer Street Crunch Returns on Saturday, July 10

Syracuse, NY (June 24, 2004) â The Syracuse Crunch announced today the dates of their Summer Street Crunch program. The Summer Street Crunch program will kick off on Saturday, July 10 at 9 a.m. at P&C Stadium. In addition, the remaining dates of the Summer Street Crunch will be July 17, August 7 and August 21.
The 2004 Summer Street Crunch series is a series of street hockey games open to all youths between the ages of 5-14 years old.
On selected Saturdays throughout the summer, a tournament is held in which two (2) teams from two (2) age groups (5-9, 10-14) will compete against each other in an hour long street hockey game. Helmets, sticks and sneakers (no skates) are required.
Registration for the tournament is only $8 per player. Any individual that registers for two (2) or more games is only $5 per player, per game. To register call the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444 ext. 138.
Registration includes the following:
*A roster spot for one game.
*An official Street Crunch t-shirt.
*A youth ticket to the second home game of the Crunch's upcoming 2004-05 season.
*All participants will be honored on the ice during an award ceremony at the game.
The complete Summer Street Crunch schedule is as follows:
July 10 â P&C Stadium @ 9 a.m.
July 17 â P&C Stadium @ 9 a.m.
August 7 â P&C Stadium @ 9 a.m.
August 21 â P&C Stadium @ 9a.m.
Season tickets for the 2004-05 season are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444 or by stopping by the Crunch office in the War Memorial at Oncenter.
