May 30, 2022 - United States Football League (USFL) - New Orleans Breakers

Philadelphia Stars wide receiver Jordan Suell, New Jersey Generals safety Dravon Askew-Henry, and New Orleans Breakers quarterback Kyle Sloter were named the OurSports Central United States Football League Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for week seven of the USFL season.

Jordan Suell caught seven passes for 72 yards and one touchdown in the Philadelphia Stars' 35-24 victory over the Houston Gamblers.

Suell played college football at Southern Oregon where he finished his college career with 112 receptions for 2,184 yards and 27 scores. He played in The Spring League for the Generals under Stars head coach Bart Andrus in 2020. Suell was selected in the 14th round of the 2022 USFL Draft by Philadelphia.

Trailing 24-13 in the fourth quarter, on third down and 10 Suell leaped and caught a 39-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Case Cookus. That play sparked 22 unanswered points by the Stars.

Dravon Askew-Henry Contributed eight tackles, seven of them solo, two interceptions and three passes defended in the New Jersey Generals' 20-13 victory over the Tampa Bay Bandits.

Askew-Henry played college football at West Virginia before suiting up for the XFL's New York Guardians in 2020. He was selected in the 19th round of the 2022 USFL Draft by New Jersey.

Here are Askew-Henry's two interceptions plus a key pass defended on a fourth down in the end zone with 31 seconds remaining:

Kyle Sloter ran into the end zone on a broken play to secure a 31-27 New Orleans Breakers victory in overtime over the Michigan Panthers. After a last second New Orleans field goal tied the game at 27, it became the first USFL contest to go into overtime. Overtime is a shootout: Each team alternates 1-play possessions from the 2-yard line with each score worth 2 points. The Panthers failed on their first two attempts, while Sloter's dash was the Breakers' second successful try.

Sloter played college football at Northern Colorado. He spent time on active rosters of the NFL's Minnesota Vikings in 2017 and 2018 and Detroit Lions in 2019. He was selected in the first round, eighth overall, in the 2022 USFL Draft by New Orleans.

Here's how Sloter secured the victory for the New Orleans in overtime:
