"Strikers Extra Time" Launches Tonight on Sportsradio 560 WQAM

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Monday, June 29, 2015) - The Fort Lauderdale Strikers and Sportsradio 560 WQAM are launching a new radio show, "Strikers Extra Time." Orlando Alzugaray, host of the "Big O Show" on Sportsradio 560 WQAM and the Strikers in-stadium Public Address announcer, will host the show four times a week from 8 - 8:15 p.m. ET.
On weeks in which the Strikers play a midweek match, the show will run on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. It will otherwise run on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.
"We're happy to take this next step in our partnership with the Strikers with the addition of this nightly program," said Program Director Ryan Maguire. "There's no one better in South Florida to bring the excitement of this club to the airwaves than The Big O!"
"Strikers Extra Time" will feature a variety of guests from the Strikers and around the North American Soccer League. Tonight's debut show will feature Sun Sentinel soccer writer Dave Brousseau and the man responsible for bringing Argentine side Boca Juniors to Fort Lauderdale, OnSide Entertainment President J.P. Reynal.
