Street Crunch Media Game Rosters Announced

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have announced the rosters for the 2015 Street Crunch Media Game to be held this Saturday, August 1 at 10:30 a.m. outside the War Memorial Arena on Montgomery Street.

The Street Crunch Media Game is an annual event where members of local media and the Crunch front office compete in a fun- spirited street hockey match-up. Teams were selected in a live draft on Twitter by team captains Brent Axe of Syracuse.com and Niko Tamurian of CNY Central.

The Syracuse Crunch's annual Summer Street Crunch series presented by McDonald's is a series of street hockey games open to all kids between the ages of 5-14. Games are held on four Saturdays in July and August. Two teams compete against each other in hour-long games. Helmets, sticks and sneakers (no skates) are required. All games are held at 9 a.m. outside the War Memorial Arena on Montgomery Street. Remaining games will be held on August 1 and August 8. To register, call Mark Hayes at the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444 ext. 33. Players may also register online.

The Syracuse Crunch will hold their 2015-16 home opener on Oct. 17. Season tickets for the 2015-16 season are on sale now and can be purchased either in person at the Crunch Box Office located in the War Memorial on 800 South State Street in Syracuse or by calling the office at (315) 473-4444.
