
Storm WR Inks CFL Deal

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm is excited to announce that wide receiver, Brandon Sheperd has signed a contract deal with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Brandon played collegiately at Oklahoma State University where he tallied 69 receptions for 1,184 yards and eight touchdowns. He ranked third in the Big 12 and 20th nationally with 18.9 yards per reception in 2014.
Brandon spent the 2019 season with the Sioux Falls Storm where he became a constant threat for opposing defenses. Last season Brandon had 864 yards and 17 touchdowns helping him earn Second-Team All-IFL honors.
Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs said, "Very deserving. The most athletic wide receiver in the league and was going to be a feature guy for us again. But Brandon is experiencing what this league is all about. Opportunity to advance and he earned it."
