Storm Travel to Green Bay

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (7-5) travel to Green Bay, WI to take on the Blizzard (5-8) on Friday, June 17 at 7:05 PM. The Storm are currently the third seed in the Eastern Conference, the top four teams in each conference qualify for the playoffs.

This is the first matchup this season between the Storm and the Blizzard. The Storm come off a 49-44 victory over the Bismarck Bucks. In that game, quarterback Dalton Sneed threw 11-for-16 completed passes for 225 passing yards, five passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and one sack. Running back Nate Chavious ran the ball six time for 51 yards and a touchdown. Wide receivers Aaron Dilworth led the way in receiving yards with 99 yards and two touchdowns, Donnie Corley had 70 receiving yards and two touchdowns and Carlos Thompson Jr. with 56 receiving yards and one touchdown. Defensive backs Brian Adkins led the defense with eight tackles and Famus Hasty with seven tackles.

The Blizzard is in sixth place in the Eastern Conference. In their last game at Massachusetts last week, they lost 30-48. In this game, quarterback Jack Sheehan threw 16-for-26 completed passes for 164 yards, two touchdowns and three sacks. Running back Tim Whitfield had 16 rushing yards on 7 attempts and one touchdown. Wide receiver Shaq Curenton had four receiving catches for 48 yards. Wide receivers Keshaun Taylor and Steven Newbold had one receiving touchdown apiece. Defensive back Momodou Mbye led the defense with nine tackles. Kicker Nick Jaworski went 3-for-4 on field goals.
