Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm will host the 2012 Dakotaland Autoglass Military Appreciation Game this Sunday, April 1 at 2:05pm at the Sioux Falls Arena against the Cedar Rapids Titans. Active and retired military will be given free entrance with their Military ID's and the ability to purchase $5 family tickets.
The game will feature several military friendly activities, including the Dakota Sports Patriotic Jersey Auction. Dakota Sports has designed one-of-a-kind patriotic Storm jerseys for the team to wear when they face off against the Titans. During the first half, fans will be able to bid on players' jerseys through a silent auction in the lobby. After the game, each player will hand over their jersey to the highest bidder, with proceeds going to support military families.
Payment for the jerseys must be received the night of the auction.
The game's halftime will feature the Lincoln High School ROTC Drill Team, sponsored by Play N' Trade, located at 3507 West 41st Street.
