Staback out Indefinitely

WICHITA, KS. - The Wichita Wild management is displeased to announce starting Quarterback Phil Staback will be out indefinitely for 3-4 weeks with a right MCL sprain. Staback was knocked out during the second quarter of Saturday night's game against the Allen Wranglers. Through three and a half games, Staback had thrown 68-127 for 648 yards, 9 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. Backup Quarterback Marcus Jackson has been named his predecessor. Jackson stepped in for the Wild in Saturday night's game, throwing 10-17, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. Jackson has been instilled with the confidence from the entire Wild Organization to take the team to the next level.
Marcus Jackson and the rest of the Wichita Wild will return to action on Saturday night at Hartman Arena when they take on the New Mexico Stars, kicking-off at 7:05pm CST.
