
Storm Signs Scott Stewart

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - The New Jersey Storm of the National Lacrosse League today signed forward Scott Stewart to a one-year contract.
Stewart showed tremendous flashes in his rookie season last year, finishing third on the Storm with 34 points (18G, 16A). The 23-year old brings national and club team experience through his time with Team Canada and the Barlington Chiefs. Stewart played his collegiate lacrosse at Drexel University. The Hamilton, Ontario native was originally selected third overall by the Storm in the first round of the 2001 Entry Draft.
The Storm will officially open this season on the road versus the Rochester Knighthawks on Saturday, December 28 at 7:35 p.m. The team opens at home on Saturday, January 4 vs. Columbus at 7:30 p.m. Eight-game, four-game, and McFamily Plans are on sale now by calling 1-866-NJ STORM.
