Storm Signs Former SDSU Receiver Josh Davis

The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) is pleased to announce the signing of wide receiver Josh Davis. Davis was highly regarded coming out of South Dakota State University and was considered a possible draft pick by many NFL teams in last months draft.

Davis set many school records while playing at SDSU. Davis finished his career at SDSU with the most receptions in school history with 225. He became just the third Jackrabbit to gain 1,000 yards receiving in one season when he caught 63 passes for 1,028 yards in 2003. Davis led the team in receptions in 2002, 2004, and 2005. He caught 49 passes this past fall for 813 yards and 6 touchdowns. He finished his career with 26 touchdowns.

The Storm and Buffalo Wild Wings will be hosting another outdoor tailgate party this Saturday from 3-6 PM. The tailgate party will be held in the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot. The band "Vermillion" will be performing live at the tailgate party as well. "Vermillion" is one of the region's best cover band and has a huge following in Sioux Empire area. At the tailgate party fans can enjoy drink specials from Buffalo Wild Wings and participate in outdoor games.

The Storm host Omaha this Saturday, May 13 at the Sioux Falls Arena. Kickoff for Saturday's game is scheduled for 7:05 PM. It is "Ladies Night" and the first 1,500 women in attendance will receive a flower courtesy of Saturday's game sponsor, Lloyd Companies. The flowers are from Anderson's & Kelly's Flowers & Gifts.
