
Storm signs familiar face

Birch Run, MI (March 2, 2005) â The Great Lakes Storm announced today the signing of James Head for the 2004-05 season, pending league approval. Per club rules, terms of the contract are confidential.
Head is no stranger to the Storm organization as he has played in 92 games (77 starts) over the past three seasons. He is the Storm's all-time leader in basically every major category. He has CBA career averages of 14.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game in 143 games. In 92 games with the Storm, he averaged 16.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. He also made the CBA All-Star team in 2002 and 2003 when he averaged 17.8 and 17.6 ppg respectively.
"James is a player that I have heard good things about," said Coach Bergman. "He has had success with this organization in the past and we are glad to add him to our roster as we head into the playoffs."
