
Storm Sign Two Linebackers

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm have bolstered the linebacker unit with the signings of Cavellis Luckett and Marquis Hendrix to the 2021 roster.
Luckett (6'0, 230) returns after signing during the 2020 season. He played collegiately at Middle Tennessee State University where he accumulated 129 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries and four pass break-ups. Cavellis was a Honorable Mention All-C-USA during his junior season.
Hendrix (6'1, 235) enters his rookie season with the Storm. Marquis played collegiately at Bethune-Cookman University where he amassed 153 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass break-ups. He was a two-time MEAC All-Conference Second Team Defensive honoree.
"We have two very athletic linebacker's that can move inside the box but can also cover out in space," said Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs. "We are very excited about these two."
