
Louisville Xtreme Sign Former Univ. Louisville Cardinals Football Team Captain

Louisville, KY. - The Louisville Xtreme have announced today the signing of former University of Louisville Cardinals defensive stand out and team captain Darius "Dee" Smith. This will be his rookie season in the Indoor Football League.
Head Coach Mark Stoute was excited to have Smith join the Xtreme.
"Dee is the ultimate competitor who brings a physical presence along with a passion for the game to our secondary. We look forward to his return to the Ville."
Smith (6'1, 210) played collegiately at University of Louisville from 2015-2018. In his senior season, he was named team captain and finished off the season with a team and career leading 75 total tackles.
A native of Florence, AL Smith was rated as a 4-star football recruit coming out of Florence (AL) High and was also rated as the No. 16 football player in the state of Alabama by Rivals.com.
The Louisville Xtreme are members of the Indoor Football League based in Louisville, Kentucky. The Louisville Xtreme is coached by Mark Stoute and led by team president Chris Redman.
