Storm Sign Three Linebackers

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm have bolstered the linebacker unit with the signings of Travis Bartlett, Cavellis Luckett and Treyvon Williams to the 2020 roster.

Bartlett (6'3, 235) enters his rookie season with the Storm. He played collegiately at the University of Washington where he tallied 126 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions and one pass break-up. Travis earned back-to-back Academic All-Pac-12 First Team, 2017 All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and 2016 Academic All-Pac-12 Second Team honors.

Luckett (6'0, 230) enters his rookie season with the Storm. He played collegiately at Middle Tennessee State University where he accumulated 129 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries and four pass break-ups. Cavellis was a Honorable Mention All-C-USA during his junior season.

Williams (5'11, 220) enters his second season in the Indoor Football League. He spent the 2019 season with the Iowa Barnstormers where he had 90 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one pass break-up, one block and one touchdown. Treyvon was named to the 2019 All-IFL Second Team squad. He played collegiately at the Florida International University where he amassed 207 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, four sacks and one pass break-up. Treyvon was an All-Conference USA Honorable Mention honoree.

"Bartlett and Luckett are two multi-dimensional LB's that we were very lucky to come across in the recruiting process. They bring their FBS experience to a team that is looking for a new leader of the 2020 defense," said Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs. "Williams was someone that we hated facing in the 2019 season. We reached out to Williams as soon as the restricted period opened and are lucky to have him joining the Storm."
