Sioux Falls, SD- The Sioux Falls Storm is pleased to announce the signing of Matt Hermanson.
Hermanson (6'1, 198lbs) was a four-year starter at the University of Montana. He totaled 239 tackles, 121 of which were solo, five forced fumbles, three fumble recovers, and five interceptions in his career as a Grizzly. During his senior season at Washington High School, Matt led the Warriors to two straight 13-0 seasons and state championships. Hermanson was a three-time All-State pick in football, and South Dakota's Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior, and earned football Most Valuable Player on defense as a junior and senior.
"We are getting a very special football player. Matt is able to come back and help the Storm and hopefully we can help him move on as we continue to pursue a championship," said Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs.
