Chicago Storm News Release

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (Feb. 20, 2009) - Still looking to add scoring punch, the Chicago Storm today added the fourth-leading scorer from the MISL last season, target forward Dan Antoniuk.

He joined the team in Detroit for tonight's game with the Ignition, and was expected to be active once he passes a physical.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Antoniuk led the league with 39 2-point goals and tacked on 11 assists to finish with 89 points for the New Jersey Ironmen. His five game-winning goals shared the league lead.

"Obviously, he's proven in both indoor league and also in the outdoor leagues that he can score goals and create goals," said Storm Head Coach Steve Morris. "He's a prototypical target who gives us a big body to play in to, he's going to battle and be physical, and as I said he's got the ability to score goals."
