The Sioux Falls Storm will play their second home game of the season as the Sioux City Bandits enter the Arena to face the Storm. The Storm will try to avenge their heartbreaking loss at Billings and get back to their winning ways against a Bandit team that ranks second in the league in rush defense.

The Bandits enter tonight's game coming off a huge win over the Colorado Ice last week. The Bandits beat the Ice 52-29 at the Tyson Events Center. This will be the 20th meeting between the Storm and Bandits. The Storm holds a 13-6 advantage and has won eight consecutive meetings. The Storm has won the last eight games by an average of 16.8 points per game.

On offense, the Bandits are led by quarterback Chad Kapanui. Kapanui passed for 118 yards and three touchdowns in the victory over Colorado. Kapanui is third in the UIF in total offense, averaging 219 yards per game. Catching those Kapanui passes are OJ Simpson, Kaylon Price, and former Storm wide receiver Tommy Hofer. Simpson is ranked fourth in the UIF in receiving yards per game with 72.3. Price has 198 receiving yards on the year with two touchdowns, while Hofer has fourteen receptions and three touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Bandits are led by UIF All-Star linebacker Spetlar Tonga. Tonga has 23.5 tackles on the year, with 8.0 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. Tonga and the Bandits defense held Billings to only 30 points after the Outlaws scored over 70 points in each of the previous two weeks. The Bandits leading tackler this season is Alex Ardley.
