January 30, 2009 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm of the Indoor Football League (IFL) has re-signed starting quarterback Terrance Bryant for the 2009 season. Bryant will be entering his fifth season with the Storm and has led the team to the UIF Championship in each of the previous four seasons. Bryant is the team's all-time leader in completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns. Bryant has been the starting quarterback in each of the Storm's record 32 consecutive wins at home.
During 2008, Bryant finished up the UIF season with (2037) yards passing and (33) touchdown passes. Bryant threw only ten interceptions on 321 pass attempts during the regular season. He had a 65.4 percent completion rate for the season, and he had a 95.76 passing rating. During the playoff run last season, Bryant passed for 232 yards and two touchdowns in two of three games.
In 2206, Bryant was the UIF MVP as well as MVP of United Bowl II. That season he passed for 2,261 yards and 52 touchdowns in the regular season and led the Storm to a 17-0 record. Bryant's 52 touchdown passes are a single season record for the Storm.
During the 2005 regular season, Bryant threw for 30 touchdowns and 1,938 yards as the Storm finished 8-8 before winning three road games and the United Bowl I Championship.
Before joining the Storm, Bryant spent four seasons with the Rapid City Red Dogs organization where he won the league MVP award in 2001. During Bryant's eight seasons of indoor football he has compiled over 18,000 passing yards and 365 touchdowns in regular season games.
Storm President Colin Steen says, "As we have all seen over the past four years, Terrance is a very talented player. His decision making skills can't be overstated and his ability at the quarterback position is second-to-none in the world of indoor football."
