Storm Re-Sign Linebacker for 2022

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm are pleased to announce the signing Linebacker Marquis Hendrix for the 2022 season.

Hendrix (6'1, 235) enters his second season with the Storm. During the 2021 season, Marquis totaled 78.5 tackles, three tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, one interception and one touchdown.

Marquis played collegiately at Bethune-Cookman University where he amassed 153 tackles, six tackles for loss, six sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass break-ups. He was a two-time MEAC All-Conference Second Team Defensive honoree.

"Marquis grew as a player last year in the indoor game," stated Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs. "We look forward to seeing how one year of experience has helped the game slow down for him."

The Sioux Falls Storm kick off the 2022 season on March 13 when they will host the Quad City Steamwheelers. Season tickets are on sale, call the office at 605.838.9009 to purchase your tickets. Payment plans are available for season tickets.
