Sioux Falls Storm News Release

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm is thrilled to announce the re-signing of kicker Parker Douglass for the 2015 season.

Douglass, a South Dakota State alum, earned All-Conference first team honors his senior year with the Jackrabbits, was named GWFC Special Teams Player of the Year in both 2005 and 2006 and set 19 school records in his four seasons with SDSU.

In 2014, Douglass made 20 field goals. He converted 59% of his field goals and 93% of his extra points, which were both tops in the league. Parker was apart of the Second Team All-IFL squad and earned the IFL's Special Teams Player Of The Week; finishing with 8-8 on his kicks (1-1 FG, 35 yarder, 7-7 PATs) in week one.

Douglass was with the Storm briefly for the 2009 season before signing with the Cleveland Browns. He has also spent time with the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints. Parker returned to the Storm in 2010 and has been a special teams staple since.

"Anytime you can sign a guy that is as consistent and reliable as Parker Douglass, it will be a huge part of the team's success, stated General Manager, Tyler Pederson. "We know he is a guy we can count on."
