Titans Fan Experience Receives Major Makeover in 2015

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA : The Cedar Rapids Titans are one month away from kicking off the team's 4th season in the Indoor Football League. Like most things as they get older, changes and upgrades need to take place. The team has made several strides on the football side during the off season to put the Titans in a closer position to bring a championship to Cedar Rapids. Earlier today the team announced details about several changes to the overall experience fans can expect at Mediacom Field in 2015.
Highlighting the changes is the acquisition of a new field. The new field will feature sewn in lines, numbers, and hash marks. The new field will be a major upgrade from the team's current field. The team expects the field to arrive in Cedar Rapids in time for the 2015 home opener on February 13th against the Nebraska Danger.
With the addition of the new field the Titans will also be adding two additional rows of floor seating on the south sidelines of the US Cellular Center. The two additional rows add 136 additional first down seats. Last season the Titans had a waiting list for fans who wanted to purchase first down season tickets. The change in seating configuration will also bring Titans fans even closer to the action. There will no longer be a gap on the south side seating between the 1st and 2nd down sections bringing fans closer to the field.
Also in 2015 the Titans will be expanding food & beverages options for fans attending games at Mediacom Field. The Titans party zone, located in the southwest corner of the arena, will be expanded to accommodate 191 people and will be available as a ticket option to the general public. For $45 fans will get a ticket into the party zone, which is located on the floor in the end zone as close to the action as you can get, and all-you-can-eat food along with all-you-can-drink beer & soda. The Titans will continue to offer group options for groups of 25 or more in this all-inclusive area.
The Titans 2015 home opener is Friday, February 13th at 7:05pm at Mediacom Field inside the US Cellular Center when the Titans welcome the IFL's 2014 Intense Conference Champion, the Nebraska Danger. There will be activities for the entire family including live music, live performances, autograph signings, giveaways, special guest appearances, and much more. Individual tickets including tickets for the home opener go on sale this Thursday at 10am at the US Cellular Center box office.
