Storm Prepare for the Barnstormers

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (2-0) are back at home on Monday, March 28th to battle the Iowa Barnstormers (0-1). The show starts at 6:45 PM at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.

Levo Credit Union will serve as the presenting sponsors of the game. The team's annual Night of Hope & Caring brings the community together to fundraise for the Sioux Falls School District.

This is the first of four matchups that will be held between the Storm and the Barnstormers this season. The Storm is looking for their third win of the season and the Barnstormers are hoping to get their first win of the season.

In the Storm's last game against the Bismarck Bucks, quarterback Tasleem Wilson completed eight passes for 187 yards for four touchdowns. Running back Nate Chavious had one rushing touchdown. Wide receiver Carlos Thompson led the way with 81 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Wide receivers Tim Keith and Aaron Dilworth both had one receiving touchdown. The Storm held on to the win after a field-goal block to seal the game against the Bismarck Bucks, 38-36.

The Iowa Barnstormers come off a 24-46 loss to the Quad City Steamwheelers. In this game, the Barnstormers quarterback Darius-James Peterson completes nine passes for 88 yards, 61 rushing yards, and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Dom McNeil had 15 receiving yards and one touchdown. Defensive back Jordan Baldwin led the game with 10 tackles. Kicker Gabriel Rui went one for three on the night in field goal attempts, making a 51-yard kick.

The Sioux Falls Storm will have an ASL interpreter at every home game for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community; seats are recommended in sections 124, 101 and 102.
