
Storm Look to Rebound, Islander Day Monday

(Summerside, PE) The Moncton Miracles rode a big third quarter en route to a 110-106 win over the Summerside STORM Thursday night at Credit Union Place in Summerside before 1,519 fans.
Devin Sweetney Led the way for Moncton with 28 points while Isaac Butts scored 24. The STORM were led by Brandon Robinson who had 25 points while Greg Plummer chipped in with 21.
Pauline Poirier of Summerside won the evenings 50-50 draw taking home half of the total pot of $2,760.00. Terry Arsenault was the winner of Greco Pizza, Kurt Chaisson won Wilson car washes, while Fred Biason was the shoot to win winner. Thanks to Bernadette's Flowers for donating flowers to sell during the game tonight. All the proceeds from the flower sales went to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The total amount raised at the "Cure on the Court" game will be announced tomorrow.
The STORM play next this coming Monday for their Islander Day Game at 2pm. The STORM are looking to break the World Record the largest Pilates class with a registration at 11:30am and the class starting at 12 noon. The game also has a theme of family fitness and wellness with a $30 bracelet for a family of 4 which allows the family to skating, swimming, and bowling all day at Credit Union Place while being able to go to the STORM game against the Saint John Mill Rats.
