Storm Look To Ground Barnstormers

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (11-1) will face the Iowa Barnstormers (4-7) in a week 13 battle on May 27th for a 7:05 PM (CT) kickoff in Iowa.

Last week, the Sioux Falls Storm won their eleventh game of the season against the Green Bay Blizzard with an 58-24 victory. Lorenzo Brown finished with 163 yards, three touchdowns, two interceptions, along with 92 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Korey Williams ended the game with 44 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver, Mike Tatum, finished with one rushing touchdown, 92 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. The Storm defense tailed 45 tackles, three sacks, two interceptions, seven pass break-ups and two blocks.

The Barnstormers lost against the Cedar Rapids Titans last week, 33-46. Brion Carnes threw 14 completions for 172 yards, two interceptions and four touchdowns. Lucas Hefty led the Barnstormers in rushing with 30 yards. The leading receiver for the Barnstormers was Bryan Pray who brought in five passes for 99 yards and two touchdowns. The Barnstormers defense finished with 52 tackles, one forced fumble and one interception.
