SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (3-2) will travel to face the Iowa Barnstormers (3-2) this Saturday, June 19 for a 7:05 PM kickoff.
The Storm look for redemption in Iowa after last facing the Barnstormers on May 15 where the Storm lost 56-36. The Storm also look to get back in the win column after a 50-32 loss to the Spokane Shock last week. In that game, quarterback Tommy Armstrong completed 16 of 23 passes for 107 yards along with 57 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Running back Nate Chavious had 40 rushing yards and two touchdowns along with 34 receiving yards. Wide receivers Brandon Sheperd had 18 reception yards and Damian Ford had 51 reception yards. Defensive back Trey Wafford led the Thunder Defense with seven total tackles and 0.5 tackle for loss. Defensive linemen Roosevelt Falls had 0.5 tackle for loss. Defensive back Jermaine Robinson had one tackle for loss and three pass break-ups. Kicker Chase Vinatieri made two out of three field goals.
The Barnstormers also look to get back in the win column after a 53-22 loss to the Bismarck Bucks.
