November 16, 2005 - Major Indoor Soccer League 2 (MISL 2)
Chicago Storm News Release

The MISL season is under way and that means a lot of Storm activity all over the city of Chicago! The schedule's packed and for Storm Insiders that means being able to catch your favorite players and coaches and find out what the team is up to.

Let's start with this Saturday's game. The Storm is taking on the expansion California Cougars at 7pm at the UIC Pavilion. Not only is the Storm looking for a victory versus the new club, we're also looking to help feed those people in Chicago that could use the help this holiday season. The Storm has teamed up with the Greater Chicago Food Depository to make this Saturday's game a food drive. For every ticket sold at 312-226-4625 by the end of business day Thursday, November 17th, the Chicago Storm will donate 4 dollars to the GCFD. We also urge everyone who comes to Saturday's game to bring non-perishable foods to donate to the GCFD. A collection box will be located on the main concourse. The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago's food bank, is a not-for-profit food distribution center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community. The Food Depository distributes donated and purchased food through a network of 600 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters to more than 91,000 adults and children every week.
