SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (5-6) will head to Des Moines, IA to face the Iowa Barnstormers (5-5) on Saturday, August 14. Kickoff will be at 7:05 PM.
Both teams are in the playoff hunt but with a Storm win, the Storm will clinch a playoff spot.
The Storm look to get revenge against the Barnstormers after losing the last two match-ups this season.
The Storm look to get back in the win column after a 33-37 loss to the Frisco Fighters. In that game, quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed seven passes for 120 yards, three touchdowns, 16 rushing yards for one touchdown and one fumble. Running back Nate Chavious rushed for 78 yards along with 112 return yards and one touchdown. Wide receivers Brandon Sheperd had 41 reception yards and two touchdown, Alonzo Moore had 27 reception yards and Tre King had 38 reception yards and one touchdowns. Defensive back Trey Wafford led the Thunder Defense with seven total tackles. Defensive linemen David Marshall had one pass break-up and TJ Winslow had one tackle for loss. Defensive backs Reid Harrison-Ducros had two pass break-ups and Jermaine Robinson had one pass break-up. Kicker Parker Douglass made three out of five extra points.
The Barnstormers look to extend their win streak to two games after a 48-41 win over the Bismarck Bucks.
