KEARNEY, Neb. - For the third year in a row, the Tri-City Storm is partnering with FOX Nebraska to air three more games on television beginning on Saturday, Dec. 10 when the Storm host the Des Moines Buccaneers.

The team announced today that it reached an agreement with KFXL, the FOX Nebraska affiliate in Lincoln that serves Kearney and most of Central Nebraska.

"The last two seasons on T.V. were great for sports fans in our area to see what Storm Hockey provides for our community entertainment, as well as the elite level of hockey," said Storm President Greg Shea. "We'll continue to use these telecasts to promote what the USHL and Storm Hockey is all about, and how we affect Central Nebraska."

All three games will be from the Viaero Event Center, as the two additional air dates include Jan. 28th (vs. Sioux Falls) and Mar. 24 (vs. Dubuque). Broadcasters for the telecasts will be the radio Voice of the Storm - Skip Berry providing the play-by-play, while Todd Gottula will be the rink side reporter.

The Storm will travel to Michigan for two games next weekend against Muskegon and Team USA - U18. Classic Hits 98.9 FM will air both games, as the Viaero Wireless Pre-Game Show will start at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.
