Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm (9-2) will be on the road this weekend for the first of two back to back road games traveling to Colorado to take on the Ice (2-9). The two teams will face off for their second and final meeting of the regular season at 7:05PM Saturday, June 5.
Sioux Falls is coming off a big home win (50-47) over the Omaha Beef, in what was one of the most exciting games of the 2010 season. The Storm were coming off a nail biting home loss to the Beef, and looking for revenge. The game ended in dramatics as the one before, with Omaha's Longest kicking a 56-yard field goal to send the game into overtime. Terry had another outstanding night with 8 catches and two touchdowns, making him the all-time leader in catches.
Colorado is coming off its second straight win (42-38) of the season against the Sioux City Bandits. Colorado held Sioux City on a late drive to win it; in a game were neither team lead by more than 6 points. The two teams exchanged the lead11 times. Colorado seems to have finally found its stride.
