Wild Have Playoff Berth In Their Sights

The Wichita Wild will be seeking to clinch a berth in the Indoor Football League playoffs on Saturday as the team travels to Green Bay, WI to take on the 7-4 Blizzard. With a win, the Wild (8-3) would clinch their second consecutive playoff berth and be in the driver's seat to host a first round playoff game at Hartman Arena. Kickoff is set for 7:05 PM from the Resch Center in Green Bay. The game can be heard LIVE on 1330-AM KNSS.

The Blizzard have lost three out of their last four games after starting the season with a 6-1 record. The Green Bay offense is averaging 47.0 points per game which is the 6th most in the IFL. The Blizzard make use of numerous receivers in their attack as eight different players have at least 10 receptions this season.

Green Bay enters the game ranking 16th in the league allowing an average of 41.9 points per game. The Wild defense allows an average of 37.9 points per game which ranks 10th. Green Bay linebacker Maurice Simpkins leads the IFL with 70 solo tackles on the season.

The Wild return home for their final regular season home game of the season on Saturday, June 12. The game will feature the Wild in a game with the rival Sioux City Bandits.
