Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm is proud to announce that current Storm defensive back Jermaine Robinson has signed a two-year deal with the Ottawa RedBlacks of the Canadian Football League. This will mark the third Storm player in three years to move on to the CFL, as Robinson joins former Storm players Korey Williams and Shawn Lemon in Canada.
In four games this season for the Storm, Robinson has tallied 30 tackles and has recovered one fumble. Jermaine played collegiately at the University of Toledo. In four seasons as a Rocket, Robinson recorded 117 solo tackles and 229 total tackles. Jermaine also amassed eight interceptions, four of which came his senior season, and forced five fumbles.
Jermaine will be apart of a RedBlacks team that will be entering their inaugural season in Ottawa. The Storm wish Jermaine the best of luck and congratulate him on next step in his career.
