
Storm Crushes Cavalry

Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm defeated the Wyoming Cavalry 64-29 Saturday night, improving to 7-0 on the season while the Cavalry drop to 1-6.
After an early mishap, which saw the Cavalry recover the opening kick-off, the Storm locked in and simply over powered the struggling Cavalry. The Storm defense were relentless on the frontline throughout the contest, collecting two safeties, three sacks, and limiting the Cavalry to one yard on the ground.
Chris Dixon was all over the field in Saturday's win, throwing for 122 yards, and collecting two touchdowns, while also rushing for 41 yards and another four touchdowns. Dixon is currently atop the leaderboards for touchdowns thrown with a season total of 28.
Martevious Young also got in on the action Saturday night. In Young's first snap of the game at quarterback he fooled everyone on the option and took it the distance of 29 yards for the touchdown, his second of the season.
The Storm will be entering another bye week following Saturday's game before returning to action Friday, May 2nd when they will be traveling to Casper, Wyoming in a rematch against the Cavalry, tune into KWSN FM 98.1/AM 1230 to catch all of the action.
