ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Saint Louis FC hosts Louisville City FC on Saturday, August 29th at 7:00 p.m. CT at West Community Stadium in Match 10 of the USL Championship regular season.
The teams will play their twelfth contest against each other with Saint Louis FC looking to improve their 2-4-5 record in the series. The teams last played in on July 18th with Saint Louis FC recording their first win away to Louisville with a 1-0 victory at the new Lynn Family Stadium.
Saint Louis FC is coming off a 2-2 draw away to Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC which required a two-goal comeback courtesy of Kyle Greig and Wal Fall strikes either side of halftime. The team currently sits 3rd in Group E with Louisville City FC leading by two points.
Louisville City FC is coming off a 1-0 midweek victory against Group E leaders Indy Eleven as Paolo DelPiccolo scored the lone goal in the 61st minute to claim all three points and leapfrog Saint Louis FC into the playoff positions. The team is led by Cameron Lancaster with five goals so far this campaign and goalkeeper Benjamin Lundt has kept four clean sheets which is tied for top of the USL Championship goalkeeping charts.
