April 11, 2018 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Saint Louis FC News Release
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Saint Louis FC will enter the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in the Second Round taking place on May 16th and travel to face the winner of the Duluth FC (NPSL) - Dakota Fusion FC (NPSL) match decided in the First Round on May 9th.
Home teams for each round are determined by a random selection process among those clubs that have applied to host and whose venues meet the minimum tournament requirements. Last season, Saint Louis FC traveled to face FC Wichita and Michigan Bucks in the Second and Third Rounds, respectively, before hosting the Chicago Fire in front of a sell-out crowd at Toyota Stadium and narrowly losing 1-0 to the MLS side. Saint Louis FC has reached the Fourth Round to face MLS competition in two out of three seasons, including the first season in 2015 where they lost 1-0 away to Sporting Kansas City.
