Stingrays Raise Money for CMN Next Saturday Night

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays are teaming up this year with Frito Lay, George Western Bakeries, Kellogg, Kraft, Pepsi and Wal-Mart for the 2nd Annual Makin' Noise for the Girls and Boys Night on Saturday, Jan. 31 benefiting the Children's Miracle Network. Last year's event helped raise close to $10,000.

The game on Saturday, Jan. 31 against the Charlotte Checkers will begin at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum. Each fan entering the Coliseum will receive a Kraft Mac 'N Cheese "noisemaker" and throughout the game fans will be encouraged to shake them to "Make Noise for the Girls and Boys of CMN." At the conclusion of the game fans can feel free to donate their box of Mac 'N Cheese in any of the Low Country Food Bank bins on the way out to their cars.

The players will be wearing specialty jerseys, pictured left, that night which will be auctioned off following the game with 100% of the proceeds going toward the Children's Miracle Network.

Tickets to the game are being sold at the Wal-Mart at Tanger Outlets for $10 with 100% of the proceeds going back to CMN. Fans can stop by there at any time and ask for a manager to purchase tickets. Also, fans can call the store at 740-1112 or manager Steve Bowers at 323-1821 to order tickets as well.

Come out on next Saturday night and help the Stingrays support the Children's Miracle Network.
