
Stingrays Announce Slogan Contest Winner

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals, announced today the winner of the Stingrays Facebook Slogan Contest. Stingrays Season Ticket Holder Carl Clark claimed the award and an autographed Alex Ovechkin Washington Capitals jersey with his entry of "Stingrays Hockey: Hard-Hitting Family Fun!"
Fans participated in the contest by posting their slogans and ideas on the Stingrays' Official Facebook Fan Page, Facebook.com/SCStingraysHockey . Over 300 entries were received during the contest. Carl and his wife Anne have been Stingrays Season Ticket Holders since the 2010-11 season and will be presented with the autographed jersey during the Stingrays' Opening Weekend against the Reading Royals and Wheeling Nailers on October 14 and 15 at the North Charleston Coliseum.
