
Cyclones Introduce Official Medical Team for 2011-12

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today their official medical team for the 2011-12 season.
Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine will once again provide exclusive medical coverage for the Cyclones this year - marking the sixth consecutive season they have done so. Dr. David Argo will serve as the medical director for the two-time Kelly Cup Champions. He is fellowship trained and board certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. He received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, where he was captain of the varsity soccer team. He earned his medical degree andcompleted an orthopaedic residency at the University of Tennessee. In addition to his work with the Cyclones, Dr. Argo is the team physician for Oak HillsHigh School, East Central High School, and the College of Mount Saint Joseph.
Dr. James Sanitato, who works in partnership with the Tri-State Centers for Sight, is back again as the official team optometrist this season. Dr. Sanitato was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio while his medical career in Cincinnati began in 1984 as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati Department of Ophthalmology. In 1992, Dr. Sanitato left the University and began a private practice. During his twenty-five year career in ophthalmology, he has specialized in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. Married with four children, Dr. Sanitato resides in Anderson Township.
The Plastic Surgery Group will execute the team's plastic surgery needs in 2011-12. The Plastic Surgery Group, Surgery As An Art, has three locations in Cincinnati, West Chester, and in Northern Kentucky. They have worked tirelessly to provide themost up-to-date information on the latest plastic surgery (both surgical andnon-surgical) options to help their clients look and feel their very best. With over 100 years of combined experience between Dr. Michael J. Columbus, Dr. Robert P. Hummel, Dr. Gene E. Ireland, Dr. Michael G. Leadbetter, Dr. Christopher N. Vashi, and Dr. Richard B. Williams, they are the experts the Cyclones trust.
The Cyclones are also pleased to welcome West Chester Dental Group to their medical family. Dr. Sanjeev K. Goel will function as the team dentist this season. Dr. Goel, who has been providing quality dentistry for over 25 years, is ranked in the top 5% in his profession. He attended dental school in India as well as Case Western School of Dentistry in Ohio. He has earned hundreds of hours in continuing education courses thathave contributed to his wealth of knowledge and expertise in his field. Dr.Goel works extensively in the fields of implant and cosmetic dentistry. Dr.Goel is married and has two grown children who are both eagerly following in his footsteps to join him in the dental community.
