
Stockton's Piecuch Named ECHL Ticket Executive of the Year

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that Dave Piecuch of the Stockton Thunder is the 2010-11 recipient of the ECHL
Ticket Executive of the Year
award.
The award is presented to an individual who has experienced success with the ticket sales process. The winner is selected by a vote of league general managers and ticketing managers.
Piecuch, who also won the award in 2008, manages a staff of seven as Stockton's Vice President of Sales. During the 2010-11 season, the Thunder had a four percent increase in overall ticket revenue, led by a 28% increase in group sales. Stockton finished second in the ECHL with an average of 6,382 fans per game, the team's best attendance since the 2007-08 season. The Thunder have averaged over 6,000 fans per game in each of their six seasons in the league and led the ECHL in attendance for their first four seasons before finishing third in 2009-10.
