
Stingers Lose, Split Series

Willmar Stingers News Release
La Crosse, Wis. - After taking a victory on Sunday night the Stingers fell in game two against the La Crosse Loggers 9-4.
The game was back and fourth but in the 8th the Loggers put up a three spot giving them a five run lead.
Throughout the ball game Willmar did get some big hits, tallying eight in total. The Stingers got RBIs from Calvin Estrada (Long Beach St), Jayson Newman (Cal-State Northridge) and Matt Malkin (Alabma).
But the hit's would not accumulate to a win as the Stingers fell 9-4.
Willmar will face the Eau Claire Express tomorrow night back at home at Beautiful Bill Taunton Stadium.
Trevor Divinski (Minnesota St) will be on the bump to start for the Stingers.
