Sarnia Sting News Release
SARNIA, ON - Sarnia Sting General Manager Nick Sinclair announced today that the Club has struck a deal with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds to acquire 2000 born forward Ryan Roth.
Roth, a Ladue, MO native is currently in his third Ontario Hockey League season in which he has 6 points in 6 games played. In 142 total OHL contests, Roth has combined for a total of 81 points (38 goals & 43 assists) and holds a +42 rating.
In return the Greyhounds will receive a 4th round pick in 2021, a 2nd round pick (HAM) in 2023 and a conditional 5th round selection in 2023.
Sinclair comments on today's acquisition: "since the onset of training camp we have been targeting the addition of another older forward that could come in to provide additional experience and offence with our current younger nucleus. Ryan is a player that brings skill and the ability to score in all situations and he will be a welcome addition to our club."
